No. Appointments are paid for at the point of booking, and you must be sure that you can make the appointment before you book. However, in the unlikely event that the cancellation is made by Prime Medic, you will be refunded. This will happen if; The doctor is late or misses the appointment; The doctor decides that a video consultation is not suitable for your purposes. We are unable to match you with a doctor at your desired time.
Yes, in almost every case. However, in very rare cases, the doctor you need may have been called away, or incapacitated at your appointed time. In these cases, your appointment will be refunded. After this, you can decide whether you want to re-book or if you would prefer to visit your local doctor.
Yes, through our PrimeScript program. However, we don't issue new prescriptions to patients. Instead, we are licensed to offer continuations or repeat prescriptions on drugs that have been previously prescribed. Take a look at the prescriptions section below to find out more.
Prime Medic can refill prescriptions, but only for medications that have been prescribed for you before. This is known as PrimeScript. To use this service, you must first complete an online questionnaire. We will then get your results reviewed by a registered doctor and, if you have been successful, notify you within 24 hours. Bear in mind that you may need to be contacted for more information.
Your prescription will be sent to your chosen pharmacy and then pharmacy will dispense you the medicines. This option is cheaper and immediate, provided it is already stocked by the pharmacy.
We provide PrimeScript on Medicare Bulked Billed tends to availability (Terms & Condition Apply). However, if you are a PBS card holder, you may be entitled to receive discounted rates on your prescription. Not all medications that we prescribe are covered by PBS.
