Convenient and Accessible Healthcare

Prime Medic is both convenient and accessible. All of our teams work hard to ensure that our processes are clear enough to be used by all.

Our services are accessible to all patients and clients across Australia. Under Australian law, we are only allowed to provide online consultation and medical services to patients who are currently within the country of Australia. Unfortunately, this means that if you an Australian citizen who is on holiday or on business out of the country, or are out of the country for any other reason, you will not be eligible for our services.

However, this does mean that, as long as you are currently within Australia's borders, you will be able to use our services. It doesn't matter whether you are an Australian national and have lived here your whole life, or you are a holidaymaker spending time on Australia's shores, we can give you the services you need.

All you require is an internet connection. Sign up, create an account, and start booking your first appointments with Prime Medic.

The Patient Process

So how do patients connect with the services we provide? And how do you get the very best out of Prime Medic and all we can offer?

It all begins by signing up. This is the initial step, in which you select your login information which you will use to access our services on a regular basis.

From here, you will be asked to input some basic information regarding yourself and your medical history. This is the foundation of information which we will use to provide further advice and consultation as we move forward.

With your account set up, you are now ready to book your appointment. Perhaps the most frequently used of our services is the online consultation.

When booking an online consultation, you will provide some information regarding the assistance you need. After this you don't need to do anything. We will do the work, matching you with a medical professional with the relevant experience and availability to give you what you need.

During your appointment, you will be able to converse with the doctor in the same way you would if you were actually in their physical surgery. This includes asking any questions and requesting any clarification you may need.

Following your consultation, you can request a full report from the medical professional you spoke to. This will include all of the advice and information you received, and provides an easy way to organise and understand your medical needs.

There are other services open to our users. You may also require a medical certificate for a job application or for another official use. Simply select this option in our list of services or on our homepage. We will schedule a consultation for you and help you achieve the documentation you require.

You may also want to take advantage of our Quick Prescription service. Again, this can be selected from our service list or from our home page.

This is a service by which you can get your prescription sent to a pharmacy for collection. Please be advised that this is only for repeat prescriptions. Prime Medic cannot issue new prescriptions.

There are also some medicines that we cannot legally prescribe, even if you have been prescribed them before. Take a look at our FAQ page to learn more.
